Ginko Adachi worked as a war correspondant and illustrator during the Sino-Japanese war. Besides war prints he produced actor portraits. Little is known about his life. He was born under the real name of Adachi Heishichi. Ginko studied with the Western-style painter Goseda Horyu I. Ginko made designs for prints of the Boshin rebellion in 1870. -artelino.com
