- brass (alloy) - Alloy of copper and zinc, usually with copper as the major alloying element and zinc up to 40% by weight.
- brasswork (objects) - Works made of the metal brass, particularly sculptures, containers, and other decorative or utilitarian objects.
- Contemporary - Refers to painting, sculpture, graphic arts, and architecture dating from the recent past and present. It is typically used to refer to large or medium-sized objects made of stone, wood, bronze, or another metal. Small objects are typically referred to as "carvings." As works become more diffused in space or time, or less tangible, use specific terms, such as "mail art" or "environmental art."
